The Notary is an official appointed by the Spanish government, completely independent, and comparable to a judge, who ensures that all parties involves know exactly what they are undertaking. The Notary ensures the paperwork has been drawn up properly and that the property is free of debts and encumbrances.Of course all the paperwork will be in Spanish, and if you don’t speak Spanish, no problem, we can provide an exact translation for you. The Notary will also have on hand an official who will translate independently any and all documents before you sign. |
